Classed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2007, Lavaux wine region is unique for its landscape, character and history. Located at the edge of Lake Geneva between Lausanne and Vevey (Switzerland), the region is known for its terraced vineyards literally plunging into the lake and is dotted with small villages hanging between the sky and the water.
