GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE / LEGAL NOTICE
The following terms and conditions (subject to change) apply automatically and without restriction to all purchases made at all sales outlets of the Festival Lavaux Classic – Fondation Lavaux Classic, including the website www.lavauxclassic.ch. Confirmation of the purchase by the customer and payment for the purchases imply unreserved acceptance of these conditions of sale.
Responsibility of the buyer
The buyer is solely responsible for their ticket. They assume full responsibility in the event of theft, loss or fraud. Each ticket is unique: the barcode it contains will be scanned at the entrance and will allow the admission of only one person. Therefore, only the first person to present the ticket will be admitted to the performance. It is therefore forbidden to reproduce, duplicate or counterfeit the ticket in any way.
It is possible to buy tickets for several performances per order, as well as subscriptions and other products.
Payment by internet
Our online ticketing service www.lavauxclassic.ch is the online ticketing service of the Lavaux Classic Foundation, whose registered office is at rue du Temple 23, CH-1096 Cully, Switzerland.
Payments can only be made by Visa, Mastercard, Postcard or PayPal.
The transaction is final as soon as the payment is validated.
Any modification or cancellation of the purchase is impossible. The security of credit card payments is ensured by the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) coding system of Datatrans, which encrypts and secures confidential information.
As soon as the buyer has ticked the box “I have read and accept these general conditions”, they declare they accept these conditions without reservation. The data recorded by the ticket office is authentic and constitutes proof of all transactions made.
The data recorded by Festival Lavaux Classic constitutes proof of all transactions between Festival Lavaux Classic and its customers. The data recorded by the secure payment system constitutes proof of the financial transactions.
Once payment has been confirmed, customers can immediately access their orders from their personal account. Tickets can be printed out in PDF format. Please note that tickets can also be downloaded to your mobile phone.
Good quality printing is required. Partially printed, soiled, damaged or illegible tickets will not be accepted. To check the quality of the print, the customer must ensure that the information written on the ticket, as well as the barcode, is legible. If the box to request the ticket to be sent by post has been ticked, a fee of 3.00 per order will be charged.
Payment at one of our sales points
At all our sales outlets you can pay by credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Maestro) and in cash.
The prices of the tickets are indicated in Swiss Francs, all taxes included, excluding the contribution to the processing and shipping costs.
Different types of prices are offered depending on the show. For reduced and young people’s tickets, proof of age may be requested at the entrance to the theatre. In the event of an error, the customer must pay the difference in price.
Festival Lavaux Classic reserves the right to change its prices at any time, but products will be invoiced on the basis of the prices in force at the time of order placement.
Seating plans and location of seats
Depending on the configuration of the venue and the event, numbered seats (Le Temple in Cully), and unnumbered seats in all other venues are offered.
During the purchase process, seats can be indicated on a seating plan if available. The location on the seating plan is provided in as representative a manner as possible. The seating plans on the www.lavauxclassic.ch website are provided for information purposes only and have no contractual value.
Cancellations, postponements/exchanges, refunds
Tickets are issued as soon as your payment has been validated. They may not be resold at a price higher than the value shown on the ticket, and any holder of such a ticket may be refused entry. The beneficiary of the ticket must comply with the rules and regulations of the venue, regardless of the performance.
The purchaser must check the name, date and time of the show and the price on the ticket when it is handed over. No claims will be accepted afterwards.
The shows start at the exact time indicated on the ticket. Once the performance has started, latecomers will not be allowed to enter the theatre, except at the appropriate time as determined by the management, the director and/or the stage manager. No refund can be requested.
If a performance is cancelled, a later date may be offered if the programme allows. The ticket must be exchanged for another ticket for the proposed date.
Tickets purchased with a discount (Friends or other partners) will not be exchanged or refunded.
Tickets purchased for an outdoor concert or event will not be exchanged or refunded in case of bad weather. It is therefore advisable to bring an umbrella, a jumper or a raincoat if necessary.
If Festival Lavaux Classic decides to refund tickets for other events, only the price indicated on the ticket will be refunded (minus a 10% administration fee). The Festival will make the refund at the request of the purchaser within 30 days of the date of the performance. The customer therefore undertakes to send the tickets to the theatre as soon as possible. In the event of the cancellation or modification of the date, time or place of a performance for which the spectator has purchased tickets, the spectator accepts that the Festival Lavaux Classic may use the contact details entered at the time of purchase in order to communicate the procedure to be followed.
